Seibei Nakagawa was the first person from Japan to receive training from a German brewmaster.
Fueled by an adventurous spirit, Seibei Nakagawa left Japan at the age of 17. Bucking traditional norms for young Japanese men during his time, he ventured out to seek something new.
“His travels eventually led him to Germany where he learned the craft of brewing.”

Today, the tradition stays alive and continues further extending its legacy, while laying down the path for the future.
